Abbey Road

Abbey Road straddles the Westminster/Camden border near St John's Wood. The zebra crossing and the studios bring a steady stream of tourists taking photos, but the residential streets around it are quietly wealthy. Large detached and semi-detached houses, mansion flats, and a very settled feel. St John's Wood tube on the Jubilee line is the main station. The High Street has a small run of upmarket independents and cafes. Lord's Cricket Ground is nearby. It's expensive and suburban-feeling for somewhere so central.
