The southern end of Pimlico runs down towards the Thames, with Dolphin Square (a vast 1930s mansion block with its own pool and gardens) as the landmark development. The riverside walk along Grosvenor Road is pleasant but the road itself is busy. Churchill Gardens estate is a large council development along the river. It's quieter than the northern end, more residential, and slightly further from the tube. The area has a settled, slightly forgotten feel. Vauxhall Bridge is at the southern tip, giving views across to the MI6 building.
