Queen's Park the area takes its character from Queen's Park the green space, a proper Victorian park with a cafe, tennis courts, a paddling pool, and a bandstand. Salusbury Road is the local high street and it's genuinely good: independent cafes, a wine shop, a deli, the Salusbury Pub. The streets around the park are Victorian terraces, many owner-occupied by families. It has a strong community feel and an active residents' association. Queen's Park station gives you the Bakerloo line and Overground. It's one of those London neighbourhoods where people put down roots and don't want to leave.
