West Kilburn

West Kilburn sits between Kilburn and Kensal Rise, home to large council estates including the Mozart and Carlton Vale estates. The area has been the focus of regeneration efforts for years, with the South Kilburn scheme slowly replacing some of the older blocks. Kilburn Park tube (Bakerloo) is the main station. The high street life is on Kilburn High Road to the east. It's one of the more deprived parts of Westminster, with a strong community but limited local amenities. The diversity is genuine and the proximity to Queen's Park and Maida Vale provides some green space nearby.
