Barkham & Arborfield

Barkham is a scattered rural parish with no real centre, just lanes, fields, and houses tucked behind hedges. Arborfield has more shape to it, with a village green and a pub, though the old garrison site is being transformed into a massive housing development that will change the character completely over the coming years. The new Arborfield Green development brings modern family homes, a new school, and district centre, but it's still finding its feet. You need a car for everything here.
