Marcham is a small village west of Abingdon along the A415. It has a proper village feel with a church, a pub, and a primary school. Housing is a mix of older cottages and some modern infill. The A415 runs through it which is the main downside, bringing traffic noise to what is otherwise a peaceful spot. It suits people who want genuine countryside while still being close to Abingdon and the A34.
