Steventon & the Hanneys

Steventon is a linear village strung along The Causeway, with an unusual layout that gives it a distinctive look. The Hanneys (East and West Hanney) are smaller, quieter villages further west. These are proper Oxfordshire villages with thatched cottages, a church, and not much else. You need a car for everything. The trade-off is genuinely attractive countryside and a pace of life that feels a world away from Oxford, even though it's only fifteen minutes up the road.
