Long Crendon

A large village strung out along a High Street with a proper mix of cottages, listed buildings and newer houses at the edges. The courthouse at the top end is National Trust. There's a pub, a shop, and a primary school. It sits right on the Oxfordshire border so people look towards Thame as much as Aylesbury. House prices reflect the fact that it's a pretty village in good countryside. Haddenham and Thame Parkway station is the commuter route into Marylebone.
