Bicester South & Ambrosden

South Bicester includes Graven Hill, which is the UK's biggest self-build housing development. People literally design their own houses there, so the streetscape is unlike anything else in the area. Ambrosden is a small village just south, historically linked to the army base at Graven Hill. The area is still evolving and feels a bit like a construction site in parts. If you want something genuinely different from standard volume housebuilder output, Graven Hill is worth a look, though it comes at a premium.
