Tadworth is a spread-out residential area south of Banstead Downs. The small cluster of shops near Tadworth station covers the basics. Housing is mostly interwar and postwar semis and detached houses, with some larger properties towards Walton on the Hill. The Tattenham Corner branch line runs through, giving you a slow but reliable service to London Bridge and Victoria. The Epsom Downs racecourse is nearby. Children's Trust is a well-known local landmark. It feels suburban and settled, the kind of place where people put down roots and stay.
