Beam

On the eastern edge of the borough near the Beam River, bordering Havering. A mix of interwar housing and some post-war estates. Dagenham East station is nearby on the District line. It feels more like outer London here, quieter and more suburban than the Barking end. The Beam Parklands and Eastbrookend Country Park are close, which gives it more green space than most of the borough.
