Eastbury

A residential area in the northern part of Barking, close to Upney station. Interwar housing similar to the wider Becontree estate pattern. Eastbury Manor House is a notable Tudor building managed by the National Trust, which gives the area a small claim to fame. Otherwise it is a quiet, unremarkable residential patch. Decent for families who want tube access and a house with a garden on a budget.
