Edgware is the end of the Northern line and it feels like it. This is proper outer London, almost Hertfordshire. The town centre has a Broadwalk Shopping Centre and a high street with the usual chains plus a strong kosher food scene reflecting the large Jewish community. Housing is mostly interwar semis and detached houses, with some newer developments. Station Road has a decent selection of restaurants. It's a solid family area if you want space and don't mind the commute. Edgware has its own gravitational pull and most daily life happens locally.
