Nethermayne

Nethermayne covers the area south of the town centre around Basildon Hospital. The housing is a mix of original new town stock and some newer development. Having the hospital on your doorstep is either a bonus or a nuisance depending on how you feel about ambulance sirens. There is reasonable green space around Gloucester Park nearby. It is a practical location, close to the town centre and the station, but the streets themselves are unremarkable.
