Bean & Village Park

Bean is a tiny village perched just south of the A2, with Bluewater shopping centre practically on the doorstep. The old village core has a handful of period properties around the church and the green, but much of the housing is newer. Village Park is the modern development that has expanded the population significantly. You can hear the A2 from parts of the area. There is a primary school and a pub but not much else. People live here for the road links and relative affordability compared to the posher Kent villages further south.
