Newnham

Newnham is one of Bedford's more established residential areas, sitting between the town centre and Goldington. Newnham Avenue and the surrounding streets have solid Victorian and Edwardian houses. It is popular with families partly because of the proximity to Bedford's cluster of schools. The area has Newnham Middle School and is in catchment for several of the well-regarded primaries. Russell Park is nearby. It has a settled, comfortable feel without the premium you pay in De Parys.
