The eastern side of Biggleswade includes some of the newer housing developments that have expanded the town significantly over the past decade or so. Kings Reach and the estates off Potton Road are fairly typical volume housebuilder stock. It is functional and family-friendly in that way new estates tend to be, with decent-sized houses but not much character. The recreation ground and the Ivel are accessible from here. Schools are within reach though you are further from the station than the west side.
