Biggleswade West

The western side of town includes the older centre around the market square and the streets closer to the station. Victorian and Edwardian terraces mix with some inter-war semis. Being station-side is the advantage here if you are commuting. The high street has a Wetherspoons, a few cafes, charity shops, and enough basics. London Road heading south has the usual parade of takeaways and convenience shops. It feels more like a proper town than the estate-heavy east side.
