Priestwood is one of the first neighbourhoods built when Bracknell was designated a new town. It has a recognisable 1950s layout with low-density housing, wide streets, and lots of green space between the houses. There's a small local centre with a few shops. Garth is adjacent and similar in character. Some of the housing has been updated over the years but much of it retains that original new town feel. It's close to the town centre and station, which is a practical advantage.
