Clapham

Clapham is a large village just north of Bedford on the A6. It has a village green, a primary school, and a few local shops which puts it a step above some of the surrounding villages for day to day life. The housing stock is mixed, from older properties around the green to 1960s and 70s estates and some newer builds. It feels like a suburb that still calls itself a village. Handy for getting into Bedford quickly, and the A6 gives you a straight run north towards Rushden.
