Canvey Island East

The eastern end of the island, quieter and more residential than the centre. Closest to Thorney Bay and the Canvey Lake area. Housing follows the same pattern as the rest of the island: bungalows, some with extensions and loft conversions. It feels a bit more spacious out this way, with wider streets and less traffic. Not much in the way of local shops so you are heading into the centre or off the island for anything beyond essentials.
