Westway covers the western slopes of Caterham-on-the-Hill towards Coulsdon. It is largely 1950s-70s residential development, a mix of semis and detached houses on curving suburban streets. The Caterham-on-the-Hill shops along the High Street are the nearest convenience option, a small parade with a post office and a few takeaways. Less character than the Valley or Harestone, but practical and affordable by local standards. Good access to Farthing Downs and the Downland walks to the north.
