Three small villages grouped together in the low weald south-west of Cranleigh. Dunsfold is probably the best known, partly because of the old aerodrome (where Top Gear used to film) which has planning permission for a large housing development. Hascombe is tiny and tucked into a valley, very pretty, very quiet. Alfold sits on the Surrey/Sussex border and has a village pub and not much else. You need a car for everything. Housing is a mix of period cottages, farmhouses, and some larger detached places. The sort of area where people keep horses.
