North of the town centre, close to the Manor Royal industrial estate and Gatwick Airport. A lot of residents here work at the airport or in the business parks. Housing is a mix of 1950s new-town stock and some later additions. It gets aircraft noise, which is the main trade-off. Crawley Hospital is here. It is functional and affordable but the airport proximity is something you either accept or you don't.
