Dickinsons covers the western, older part of Croxley Green, including the village green and the shops along New Road. This is the bit that actually feels like a village. Victorian and Edwardian cottages around the green, with some larger houses on the roads leading out towards Rickmansworth. The parade of shops on New Road has a butcher, a pharmacy, and a couple of cafes. Croxley tube station (Metropolitan line) is walkable, giving you a direct run into Baker Street. The canal towpath along the Grand Union is popular for walks and cycling towards Cassiobury Park.
