Durrants is the eastern side of Croxley Green, closer to Watford. Mostly 1930s semis and some postwar housing, with wider streets and a more conventional suburban feel than the village end. It lacks its own shops or centre, so daily life gravitates towards either the New Road parade or Watford. Still benefits from the village green and the community around it. Families with primary-age children like it because Yorke Mead and Harvey Road schools are nearby. Less characterful than the Dickinsons side, but you get more house for the money.
