Holywell sits on the eastern side of Watford, around the Holywell estate and the area towards Garston. It's predominantly social housing from the 1950s onwards, with some newer infill. Holywell Community Centre is the local hub. It's one of the more affordable parts of Watford and doesn't get much attention from house hunters, but it's functional and close to the town centre. North Watford station on the Abbey line is nearby, though that service is infrequent.
