Oxhey Hall & Hayling

Oxhey Hall is the quieter, more settled part of the South Oxhey area. Housing is a mix of 1950s and 60s stock with some later infill, and streets feel more suburban than the estate further east. Hayling Road runs through the middle. There are no real shops to speak of locally. Oxhey Woods is within walking distance and is a proper ancient woodland, which is the area's best feature. It's residential and low-key, the sort of place where people keep themselves to themselves.
