Temple Hill is a large post-war council estate on the northern edge of Dartford, between the town centre and the Dartford Crossing. It was built in the 1950s and has the typical layout of that era: blocks of flats, maisonettes, and some houses arranged around green areas and walkways. Parts have been refurbished but it still has a council estate character. It is one of the more deprived parts of Dartford and has a reputation locally. That said, it is close to Dartford station and there are community facilities including a library and health centre.
