South Acton

South Acton has been undergoing one of London's biggest estate regeneration projects. The old tower blocks are being replaced in phases with lower-rise, mixed-tenure housing. It's a long-term process and you're living on a building site in the meantime. South Acton station on the Overground connects to Richmond and Stratford. Acton High Street is nearby for basics. The area around Bollo Lane and the streets towards Chiswick Park tube are more established and less affected by the construction. It's an area in transition, and what it looks like in five or ten years will be very different from today.
