Southall Green

Southall Green is the residential area south of the Broadway, running towards the Grand Union Canal and Norwood Green. It's quieter than the Broadway but shares the same community. The Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha on Havelock Road is one of the largest Sikh temples outside India and a genuine landmark. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces and interwar semis. It has more breathing room than the Broadway area and the streets closer to the canal have a calmer feel. Families who want to be part of the Southall community but with a bit more space.
