West Ealing

West Ealing has its own Elizabeth line station and its own high street along the Uxbridge Road, separate from Ealing Broadway. The town centre has historically been scrappier than its neighbour, with more pound shops and fast food, but it's been changing. New developments around the station and along the Uxbridge Road are bringing more residents and some better shops and restaurants. The housing behind the high street is mostly Edwardian terraces, solid and well proportioned. It's noticeably cheaper than Ealing Broadway, which is why younger families have been moving here. The trajectory is upwards but it still has raw edges.
