The Priory area sits south of the town centre, named after the remains of the medieval priory. It is largely residential with a mix of Victorian terraces and some council-built housing from the mid-twentieth century. The recreation ground is nearby and it is within easy walking distance of the town centre and station. It is more affordable than the streets immediately around the market square but still benefits from being close to everything Faversham offers.
