Denham

Denham village itself is picture-postcard stuff. Flint and brick cottages along the main street, a couple of pubs, and the River Misbourne running through. Denham Green and Higher Denham are more modern and suburban by comparison. The area sits right on the M40 corridor, which makes it easy to get to London by car but also means you hear the motorway from parts of it. Denham station on the Chiltern line is useful but not all services stop there. The film studios put it on the map, though most residents just know it as a quiet, well-kept village with a strong community feel and not much nightlife.
