Chorleywood South & Maple Cross

The southern side of Chorleywood is more suburban, with roads of 1930s semis and some later infill. Still pleasant and well kept, but without the wow of the common and the big houses up the hill. Maple Cross is further south toward the M25, a small settlement that feels quite separate from Chorleywood. It is more affordable and more ordinary, with some newer housing. The M25 is close, which is handy if you drive but does affect the feel around the edges.
