Mill End is the less glamorous side of Rickmansworth, sitting between the town centre and the A412. It is mostly 1930s-60s housing, functional rather than charming. Penn is the area around William Penn School, slightly higher up and a bit more settled feeling. You are close to the Aquadrome and Rickmansworth station from here, which counts for a lot. It is the kind of area where young families buy their first house in Three Rivers because the prices are lower than Chorleywood or central Ricky.
