Elstead and Peper Harow

Elstead is a village on the River Wey with a green, a few pubs, and a proper community feel. Peper Harow is tiny, essentially a hamlet with a historic estate. The surrounding area is heathland and commons, part of the Surrey Hills. No station nearby so you are driving to Milford or Godalming for trains. Housing tends toward larger properties on generous plots. It is quiet and rural in a way that feels genuine rather than curated.
