Milford and Witley

Milford is a large village just south of Godalming with its own station on the Portsmouth line. There is a small cluster of shops and the well-known Secret Hills walking area nearby. Witley is further south and more rural, with a village green, an old church, and Witley Common stretching out toward Hindhead. Housing is a mix of period cottages, 1960s builds, and newer developments. Both villages have a settled, family feel. Milford is the more practical of the two with better day-to-day amenities, while Witley is quieter and more countryside-oriented.
