Stifford Clays

Stifford Clays sits north of Grays, up towards the A13 and close to Lakeside shopping centre. The housing is a mix of 1970s and 80s estates and some newer builds. It feels distinctly more suburban than central Grays, with wider roads and more green space between houses. Being near Lakeside means you have everything you need for shopping without touching Grays high street. The schools are reasonable and families tend to prefer this end of town. It is not exciting, but it is one of the more liveable parts of Thurrock if you have a car.
