The eastern half of Great Baddow, running towards Sandon and the A12. This is mostly 1950s to 1970s housing, semis and detached houses on quiet residential streets. The Sandon School is on this side, which keeps demand steady from families. Meadgate Primary is well regarded too. It is a car-first area with limited public transport, though Chelmsford station is only about a 10-minute drive. Grace's Walk and the paths along the Chelmer give some local green space without needing to go far.
