Great Baddow West

The western side of Great Baddow, closer to the river and to Chelmsford city centre. The Vineyards shopping area is the nearest thing to a local hub, with a small Tesco, chemist, and a handful of other shops. Housing is a similar interwar and postwar mix to the east side, though some of the roads closer to the Chelmer have slightly larger, more expensive houses. You can walk into Chelmsford along the river, which is a genuine plus. It feels a touch more connected to the city than the eastern side.
