This is the Greenwich side of Blackheath, taking in Westcombe Park and the streets running down towards the heath. Large Victorian and Edwardian houses, many of them untouched, on tree-lined roads. Westcombe Park station gives you trains to London Bridge in about 15 minutes. The heath itself is the draw, that vast open space shared with Lewisham. Blackheath Village is walkable for shops and restaurants. It's expensive for SE3 and SE10 but you get proper houses with big rooms. Families with kids at local primaries and dogs on the heath are the core demographic.
