Barons Court

Barons Court sits between West Kensington and Hammersmith, centred on the tube station of the same name (District and Piccadilly lines). The streets are mostly handsome red-brick Edwardian mansion blocks and Victorian terraces, a lot of them converted into flats. Queen's Club is here, which hosts the pre-Wimbledon grass court tennis. It has a settled, quiet residential feel without being especially exciting. Good for professionals who want a Zone 2 address and a quick commute without paying full Kensington prices.
