Ravenscourt Park has a proper neighbourhood identity built around the park and the District line station. The park is well maintained with a good playground, tennis courts, and a cafe. The streets around it are tree-lined Victorian terraces, many of them large family houses rather than conversions. It feels like a west London suburb that's been absorbed into Zone 2. Families are the dominant presence. Askew Road nearby has a useful run of shops. It's popular with people who want a quieter life than Hammersmith or Shepherd's Bush but don't want to leave west London.
