Wendell Park

A quiet residential area between Shepherd's Bush and Acton, named after the small park. The streets are Victorian terraces, many of them still family houses rather than conversions. Stamford Brook tube (District line) is nearby. It's one of those areas that doesn't appear on any lists because it's just quietly getting on with being a decent place to live. Wendell Park primary school has a good reputation. The Goldhawk Road industrial estate to the north is less attractive, but the residential core is solid.
