Bounds Green sits in the gap between Muswell Hill and Wood Green. Piccadilly line tube, which gives you a direct run into central London. The housing is a mix of 1930s semis and Edwardian terraces, more affordable than its western neighbours. Brownlow Road has a few cafes and shops but it's not a high street you'd write home about. Bounds Green has quietly become popular with people who got priced out of Crouch End and want Zone 3 tube access without paying Muswell Hill prices. It's pleasant, practical, and not trying to be anything it isn't.
