New Southgate sits at the junction of Enfield, Barnet, and Haringey, which means it doesn't quite belong to any of them. The station (Great Northern) is useful for King's Cross. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces, 1930s semis, and some newer development around the station. Arnos Grove tube is walkable from parts of it. It's unpretentious and reasonably affordable for the location, popular with first-time buyers looking for a Zone 4 foothold.
