Harringay (with an 'a', distinct from the borough) is the Ladder, a grid of long parallel terraced streets running between Green Lanes and Wightman Road. Green Lanes is the draw. It's one of London's best food streets, with Turkish restaurants, grocers, bakeries, and cafes running its entire length. The community feel is strong because the Ladder creates a natural neighbourhood shape. Harringay Green Lanes station on the overground is the main connection, plus Manor House on the Piccadilly line at the bottom end. It's become genuinely popular in the last fifteen years and prices reflect that now.
