Hatfield East

The eastern side of Hatfield towards the old aerodrome site and out towards Oxlease and the newer estates. Housing is a mix of new town stock from the 1950s and 60s, some later council builds, and pockets of newer development where the BAE Systems/de Havilland land has been released. It is straightforward, affordable, and residential without much in the way of local shops or character. The business park is nearby, so there are jobs within walking distance, which is unusual for a residential area. You are reliant on the town centre or the Galleria for anything beyond basics.
