Howlands

Howlands is north of the town centre, with a recognisable neighbourhood feel thanks to the Howlands area shops and the school. The housing is mostly mid-20th century, some of it with the garden city design principles of generous spacing and green frontages. Campus West leisure centre is nearby. A solid residential area, popular with families who want to be close to the town centre but on a quieter street.
